When and where is the The Queens Getaway?
The Queens Getaway will take place on October 3-6, 2024 at Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We will stay at the Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort & Spa.

2. Am I responsible for booking my flight?
Yes, all attendees are responsible for booking their flight to and from the resort.

3. Am I responsible for purchasing my passport?
Yes, all attendees are responsible for purchasing their passport and ensuring that it hasn't expired.

4. What should I pack for the getaway?
If you are thinking about what to take to Punta Cana, especially what clothes to wear in Punta Cana, keep in mind that it is a very hot climate with an average annual temperature of between 27 and 31 degrees Celsius .
To have the best time try to wear comfortable clothes. In general, they can be light cotton or linen garments, beach shirts, shorts and dresses. Various swimsuits are a must if you want to spend your days submerged in the wonderful turquoise waters of the beaches of this region.

Accessories such as backpacks, sunglasses, caps or hats cannot be missing from your list of what to take to Punta Cana to enjoy to the fullest. As for footwear, you can consider comfortable sneakers for sports activities and excursions. On the other hand, flip-flops for walking between surfaces such as sand and the pool area are also ideal.

For the nights in Punta Cana, it will be convenient to bring various more elegant cocktail garments to attend dinners and other activities of the resort where you are staying.Keep in mind that in the Dominican Republic, especially in Punta Cana, the nightlife is very active throughout the year.

When packing your suitcase for the warm beaches of Punta Cana there are two products that you cannot forget: sunscreen and anti-mosquito lotion.

Sunscreen is essential not only for prolonged exposure to the sun but for any activity that takes place on the island. Protection must be of a high factor, as the sun can burn the skin even on cloudy days.
If you wonder what to take to Punta Cana, consider special creams to hydrate the body and hair, especially after long baths in the sea and several hours in the sun.

If you plan to bring your daily hygiene items, such as shampoos, deodorants, make-up removers, etc., carry them in small or travel containers to avoid some kind of incident at the airport if you don’t want to check them in.

Packing Tips
Make certain your suitcase closes and fastens securely. Mark your luggage and carry-on bag with your name and address so you can distinguish them easily. We also recommend you put identification information—name, address and phone number—INSIDE your luggage in case the luggage tags are lost in transit. We also suggest keeping your essential toiletries and a one-day change of clothes in your carry-on. Do not pack your passport or travel documents in your luggage. It is suggested that you keep a color copy of the information page of your passport inside your luggage if your passport is lost.
5. What does the all-inclusive resort have to offer (i.e.: restaurants, activities, pools and water park, etc.)?

6. Will I need to complete a credit card authorization form every time I make a payment?
Yes, a credit card authorization form is required each time an attendee makes a payment.
7. What is included in the total price?
The total price includes the all-inclusive resort fee, lodging, a group excursion, and a registration fee, welcome package, a welcome gift, and a Queens T-shirt.
8. Can I invite another queen/woman?
Yes. All queens are welcomed and must register to attend.
9. Can I invite a man/significant other to this trip?
Yes, however; he must register and complete payment to attend. Please note that the agenda outlined is solely for the registered queens. The resort has a host of activities to offer for male attendees while the queens gather during selected times.

10. Can my children attend?
Yes, however; all children will be the responsibility of the adult that is traveling with them. Children must register and complete payment to attend.
11. Is there an itinerary for The Queen Getaway?
Yes, an itinerary will be available for all registrants thirty (30) days prior to the trip. Your registration includes one group excursion. If you’d like to participate in others, you can book additional excursions by clicking here. ​
